Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice
Pumpkin Pie Spice is so easy to make at home in less than 5 minutes! Perfect for fall baking using common ingredients from your spice cabinet so you can save money and a trip to the store!
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground allspice** see note below for substitutions
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoons ground mace* see note below for substitutions
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Whisk all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
Store in a small, airtight container away from the light until ready to use.
If you prefer more of one spice or less of another, adjust the amounts to your liking.
*If you can’t find mace or don’t already have it in your pantry, feel free to leave it out and swap in nutmeg instead.
**If you don’t have allspice in your pantry already whisk in another 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 ground cloves, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg to make up the 1 1/2 teaspoons of allspice.
